What is a creative retainer?

A creative retainer is a monthly agreement for a fixed number of hours that include video, motion, and design projects at a flat rate. Instead of quoting and hiring for each project separately, you get ongoing access to the same creative partner every month.
What's included in each retainer tier?

The following is included in each retainer tier. The Core retainer is $1,800/month for 7 hours. The Premium retainer is $3,000/month for 14 hours with priority turnaround. Hours can be used across any mix of video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design.
How are retainer hours used?

Retainer hours can be used on any mix of video editing, motion graphics, or design work. A quick edit might use an hour, a full motion piece might use several, and time is simply logged against your monthly total rather than quoted per project.
Do unused hours roll over to the next month?

Retainer hours do not roll over each month. Hours reset at the start of each month rather than rolling over, which keeps the retainer simple to plan around on both sides.
What if I need more hours than my monthly allotment?

Additional hours beyond your monthly allotment can be added for that month at a flat hourly rate, or you can move up to the next retainer tier if the extra volume is ongoing.
Can I cancel or pause a retainer?

Retainers can be paused or cancelled. Retainers run month to month with no long-term contract, so you can pause or cancel with 30 days notice.
